Thanks muhammed ,well i think the debate is too wide and serious , and with my half education ,i dont think that i can continue.
But former president Jawara also ran away and left us behind ,and also all the oppositions leaders in the country were once arrested and detained.
what the gambian constitution expects of a leader, i think that i leave this questions for the Gambian intellectuals ,professors and lawyers to help us, am just a secondary school leaver who knew nothing about the constitution.
My advice to gambians abroad is for them to show some respects to our opposition leaders and give them courages, advices and confidence. They are atleast trying .

Lamin

Thank you very much for your contribution. More than 141 387 Gambians voted for him and because of this do you you not think he should not have ran away as he has a duty to defend the voices of the 14187 Gambian voters who voted for him. Can you please explain what the Gambian constitution expects of a leader.

Please explain further if he had assess the risk involved in running for President. Do you think he regret his actions of 1996? Was it cowardice or was it a tactical move?

Some are now judging him to the valour and courage shown by Halifa Sallah and Sedia Jatta in 1994 and Halifa Sallah in 2009.

Is Darboe fit to lead the UDP after running away and leaving his supporters behind?

Please do not judge Darboe, Remember to contribute in as much as he is politician he is also a father but so was Sedia Jatta when he took on Jammeh in 1994

However did Darboe act as Muslim who just made a hejira twice to the High commission and then back from the High commission?
