Don't count on it! I have a friend who's an undertaker and he says the funeral business is NOT recession proof. A lot of people are cutting back and having only a graveside service or a cremation and NO service. Around here I see in lots of obits where there is no service but a "memorial gathering" either at the home of the deceased or of a relative, or at a local service club hall. And that's it, no service of any kind. Ruth At 4:59 PM -0400 3/31/09, [log in to unmask] wrote: In a message dated 3/31/2009 4:29:50 P.M. I'll bet funeral folks are still doing ok, too. -- Ruth Barton [log in to unmask] Dummerston, VT -- To terminate puerile preservation prattling among pals and the uncoffee-ed, or to change your settings, go to: <http://listserv.icors.org/archives/bullamanka-pinheads.html> *Please vote for ICORS every 24 hours* <http://www.lsoft.com/news/choicevote.asp>
