Don't count on it!  I have a friend who's an undertaker and he says the
funeral business is NOT recession proof.  A lot of people are cutting back
and having only a graveside service or a cremation and NO service.  Around
here I see in lots of obits where there is no service but a "memorial
gathering" either at the home of the deceased or of a relative, or at a
local service club hall.  And that's it, no service of any kind.  Ruth
