Interesting how much damage was done to the rear undercarriage - like a giant rasp was taken to it - perhaps the water just peeled off the skin, although there was also a big dent (pre-lifting, apparently) far aft. It appears the tail cone popped out - perhaps water was forced to the rear, and out. The starboard engine survived in place (although partly shredded) - it was the port engine which was sheared off. That being the case, I am a little confused as to why the plane should have, upon slowing in the water, taken a hard left - I would have thought the starboard engine, in place, would have swung the jet around the other way, to starboard. But then, modestly speaking, I don't really have as much experience as Gab and Eti have landing commercial airliners in the water. Very professional, how Sully + crew are declining to give interviews until NTSB issues prelm report. I wonder how many people on board actually prayed, to God? From pictures, it does seem that margin of safety for raft capacity is uncomfortably narrow. C **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps!
