That sounds like a really old game. The message you are getting about it 
requiring Windows 95 is coming from the games install program, not the 
Windows System. The very old installer probably doesn't recognize 
Windows XP when it checks to see what system it's being installed on and 
thinks you have an older operating system that it won't run on.

As the other guy said it will more than likely run under Windows XP with 
no problems.
