Began with a consultant out of Dallas who was reluctant to specify urethane sealants and eventually I asked why... seems in Texas in the heat they melt out of the joint. So we have done a few projects with the GE silicone and it is now my general preference where it is applicable... still prefer urethane for a masonry to masonry joint.
