It is better to "not" fool with "Norton Stuff" manually.
A surprising number of problems are caused by users
"cleaning" the wrong things from their computers, (In general.)
And, once you break a Norton Program it can take a
LONG time to "repair".

IF the Norton Recycle Bin is still installed, set it to a certain size
(if available), or a length of time to keep stuff.
Mine never kept more than (about) 1500 files so that might be a
hard coded limit. In any event, it does not keep "everything" forever...
I stopped using lots of Norton stuff around 2004 for various reasons
so the setting are getting a little fuzzy...
