Yah I would not go to those special classes. A baptist church my twin I use to go to would try and put us in the special class and it was all development disabled. I remember they were reading out of a childrens book and because of it. I know Neverkaneverus (sp) The teacher must have read the passage ten or more times. It got drilled in my head. So I guess it did not hurt me. It was just a little uncomfortable because we were normal? blind adults.

I went to the Nazareen Church this morning with my other client friends. I ended up going to a Bible study for people with special needs, but all, if not most, were mentally challenged. I think I'll try the other one, if I go there again. I was able to use an FM system, or whatever it is, but there was an echo between my hearing aid side and the implant side, so it didn't help much. I found that, even when I took it off my ear, I could still hear some of what the pastor was saying! who knows, maybe I won't need an FM system after all, although it probably depends on the acoustics of the building.
