Too bad my mom threw out my father's US Army c. 1945 wind-up phonograph,
which we used the phonograph a few times when I was a kid, and which the
'rents probably used a lot until about 1955 when hi-fi came
in. And if it'd happened in Joisey, I'd a been a yout.'
