Got out adobe problems fixed appreciate the info.
Unfortunately my wife is using mazilla fire fox rather than internet 
explorer.  I had a terrible time because the adobe link gave you a separate 
procedure to use if you were trying to download the software with mazila. 
Got disgusted and called in reinforcements (my son).
