Are you talking about WKZO, 590 AM?

If so, I have found some of their programming to actually be particularly 
interesting, when I have been in good range of their signal.

Can get them here in Big Rapids, but only marginally.

WOOD, 1300 AM in Grand Rapids, also tries to do some local programming in 
the mornings, but in the afternoons, they go to those sindicated talk show 
programs where the big bucks obviously are.
