A well-heeled private school has removed the stucco crap from a rental property it owns, and is putting in a storefront.   They have exposed the original, delicately carved limestone and half round Roman brick arches, which were pretty much undamaged in the original covering up.
 
Now they are putting fake stone (to "match" the original limestone sidewall) with a dentillated cornice over the original real stone - it is supposed "to look like it's always been there."
 
There must be a word for this. What is it?   The best I can come up with is restorfaken.   Fakoration?
