I think you probably are safe, and that 99 cent wineglasses (that's my preferred price range)
would be too inexpensive to be mde of lead crystal. Then again, maybe the importer "dumped"
his otherwise unsalable tainted wineglasses on the dopes who run the dollar store.  
But my guess is the former rather than the latter.
