well, thanks for the suggestion but I got stuck with the family vacation bill so it would be probably lat fall before I can afford an HF radio and I should put money in the house too so it might be winter other wise I'd have got in touch with you when you first listed it. Seems like every time I make progress I get kicked back, my T90A broke the other day, as I was making good headway on the credit card bills and that's not going to be cheap to fix and I don't know what next but I appreciate the thought. I'm hoping to be ready in the fall or early winter, I was ready a year ago but then got my go kit equipment and ever since it's been 1 thing after another. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Anthony Vece" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 10:30 AM Subject: Re: thinking of changing rigs > Hi John; > > I'll be selling my TS2000. > > It has the VS3 speech chip and the triplexer as well. > > I'll even leave it connected and I'll leave all my settings so that you'll > get a hands on idea of how it works. > > 73 De Anthony W2AJV > [log in to unmask] > ECHOLINK NODE NUMBER: 74389 > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "John Miller" <[log in to unmask]> > To: <[log in to unmask]> > Sent: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 10:06 AM > Subject: Re: [BLIND-HAMS] thinking of changing rigs > > >>I would like to think most icoms aren't as hard to manage as the 706 and >>with some practice, and the speech it does have, that's a very manageable >>radio, at least for me.
