If you have a socket A motherboard I'd just look on Ebay for a replacement that closely matches what you already have with respect to memory modules and speed. The slot A motherboards are a lot harder to come by but still out there to be had if you have the patience to find them. That would be the cheapest route. I am looking for some advice on what to replace my motherboard with. I don't want to spend a lot of money. Should I stay with some type of Athlon system or go to a intel P-4 system? What are my compatibility limitations? I am running Windows XP, and the current system has a 40 gig hard drive and about 850 MB of 133mhz ram. > >thanks for any suggestions. > > PCBUILD maintains hundreds of useful files for download > visit our download web page at: > http://freepctech.com/downloads.shtml > > > PCBUILD's List Owners: Bob Wright<[log in to unmask]> Drew Dunn<[log in to unmask]>
