thanks.  that's helpful.  very helpful.  yes, I should call them, shouldn't i.  didn't think of using the "phone", as you Americans call it.  how could i find their telephone number?  do they have a telephone?    should i flag down a train?     

 

i know, i will lie down on the tracks.  but ... these railway ties are horizontal - do you think they make me look fat?
