I suppose the Hi-Fi Attic doesn't have a
web site, A?
Best,
Leland
You suppose right, Leland, but it has lots of Goggle hits because it is so
well respected. When I took my old turntable there to become parts
for someone else's repair job and bought a beautifully restored Kenwood
KD-3070 with all the balance beams and tracking controls, hoping to turn my
vulnerable 33's into solid CD's with the new technology on my desk, they
found out that I still have a Dyna-Kit Amp and Tuner that I built in the 1960's
and they got all excited and said it was worth a lot of money on e-bay
today. What a weird world!
By the way (wey), it is "Eh" up here, not "aaaah".
And I wish you all a Happy Grey Cup Day tomorrow (Sunday) when Canada's
great national day, the Canadian Footbal Championship, is
celebrated. Beats any other holiday here for passion and committment
and partying. Of course it is because they play really tough
football here, not like the American sissy stuff. Our field is
longer and wider, and there are only three downs instead of a sissy four,
so there can be a lot of passing and really going for it when you have the
ball. Great game. However the marching bands and
cheerleaders are not as showy as the US variety and that makes it a bit
dull.
