What were the network issues? Any relation to the current freezing
problems? Have you checked Device manger for Yellow Marks?
Freezing issues such as you describe could be related to failing
hardware such as memory, power supplies and fans, especially as related
to overheating. Have you cleaned this PC recently?
Since you reinstalled the OS, you could also have driver or update
issues. Try Windows update to see if there are suggestions there.
Event viewer in Control Panel/Admin Tools may have some clues, 'though I
have found this to be of limited use.

After re-installing WinXP Home the system randomly freezes. I could be playing hearts, I could be surfing the net, it doesn't matter. No error messages, device manager doesnt' indicate any problems. I'm stumped.
