My Raid 0 setup doesn't require any special cooling, and there's no extra heating of which I'm aware. Raid 0 is usually run on two identical drives, to avoid waste. Why do you want to use Raid 0? *Recommended Uses:* Non-critical data (or data that changes infrequently and is backed up regularly) requiring high speed, particularly write speed, and low cost of implementation. Audio and video streaming <http://www.pcguide.com/ref/hdd/perf/raid/levels/singleLevel0-c.html#> and editing; web servers; graphic design; high-end gaming or hobbyist systems; temporary or "scratch" disks on larger machines.
