The fat in pate might be Frankenfats as Eva rightly suggests. If yo ulook in the supermarkets at the contentslabel it can be a tad shocking. Also liver can sometimes be a bit hard on the system to digest. Indeed, how about making it yourself so you know what's in it? A year ago I made some with sheepsliver. Actually it was quite nice.
