No, it's not Winx XP. I have Win 98. The most confusing thing about it, (and everything else with this computer), is that it's so sporadic. It's done the thing on the screen of the monitor twice in a month, but the first time it did it, the computer didn't freeze up - this last time, it did. I don't think it's a virus. I have Norton and update it every day, and do an online scan periodically just to be doubly sure. I'm not sure how to update my monitor card. What does that entail? Carol Hanson > Let me guess.
