it being an  Episcopal Church...
funeral yesterday in Easthampton.   service by Episcopal priest, tho didn't know the deceased, v . nice not to stumble on her name.    noticed it was a "mixed" cemetery, sort of new to me,  circumcised and circumcised mixed in higgledy-piggledy, not like the "Hebrew" section often annexed.   i kind of liked the touch of zion, more interesting grave markers, one, poss. vet of Sp Civil War  "no mas guerra"   another, attorney,  "copyright 1924-1999", then Evelyn Landau, marker was a Chinese-style sculpture, and one woman "She took life as it should be, gale force filling her sails"  finally Joseph Heller d. 1999 "there was only one catch..."

wonder what Prairie Home Companion" would be like if Garrison Keillor was Jewish   "news from Lake [you fill in]"     c
