Folks, Ms Mariama Njie has earned herself a symbolic, but important, place in the struggle against Jammeh's brigandage of the Gambia. She has, albeit, unwittingly sang the song that all those who they are opposed to the regime ruling our country. I really shed tears for the Gambia when listening to Mariama. At one point, I even thought Mariama was being carried away by emotions of Jammeh's wickedness towards the Gambian people. To me, she represents a huge majority of Gambians who refuse to recognize Jammeh's ineptitude to rule the country. With the exception of her regression to Jawara's time, I think she spoke for all Gambians who are sitting on the fence. I hope she will now reconsider her position, for the LOVE of our beloved land, and join the struggle against the incompetence and wastage of the Jammeh junta. I did not hear Jabou and Joe, but judging from the reactions of those on this forums who did, I have no doubt that Joe and Jabou and many like them have been singing my "hymn sheet". I was lucky to hear Lt. Minteh talking about Yahya's education and also "Rakka" Omar Joof's attempt to clear the air between Senegalese's and Gambians, but honestly speaking, Alhaji's closing remarks should live in all us forever. Alhaji Tapha Faye has done a great job and that should not go unmentioned. God bless The Gambia Prince NB.
