Date: 2/16/04 9:25:47 AM Central Standard Time From: Gunjur To: [log in to unmask] FYI Radio Tam Tam ( Senegalese wed-based radio station based outside Philadelphia) will air a live interview with Gambians and accept live calls from anyone who cares to comment about the situation in our dear country. The program is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday Feb 17, at 11 am New York time. Please visit the website below for the telephone numbers and other info. Please try to call in to air your views. This stations' programs are widely listened to in Senegal by the powers that be as well as the general public. We are trying to see if we can have this programming on Gambian issues done on a regular basis. Also exploring the possibility of having the tam tam broadcast carried by other stations that Gambians on the ground can tune into on their radios. The program will open with live interviews with Elhadj Fye, Binneh Minteh and yours truely, followed by opening of the lines to callers. Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay has said she will be calling in to defend the APRC camp. Please see below.
