Oh, sure, it's easy for a guy named John to try to saddle one of God's critters (or in this case, fritters) with the name Ralph. People will tease this poor ex-female cat
practically to death if it's saddled with the name Ralph, to say nothing of what the other cats named Snowball and Puff and Tabby will do.
