When my wife was running W98SE, her computer developed a problem wherein her machine would not display certain events, usually animations if I remember correctly.  Certain game sites wouldn't display some game demos, either.

All the recommended fixes pointed to a Java script error, but I was never able to fix it.

I'm wondering if John Garber has the same problem?
