> > >may the stars shine on you > Michael: Please just take care to keep Ms. Pooty in Mississippi and I'm sure my stars will be clean and polished. Leastways my eyes won't be watering. Divine grace? The fireplace mason I worked for in Moravia, NY we were working at a farm in the further boonies where there was very very good apple cider and plenty of it. At the end of the day, and it was always a twelve hour day, we would get two tall glasses... cold. It had to be enough alcohol for two six packs. It was very hard to resist the invitation, despite my having a thirty mile trip on back roads back home. We always got paid in money and booze and the mason may have been teaching me drinking first and stonework second. So, on one particularly hot day I was speeding down a back road when I went to pass a slow car and another car just then pulled out of a side road headed towards me. I slammed on my brakes and stopped within about a foot of the oncoming car, with the other car I was passing sitting next to me. Turned out both cars were full up with angry Baptists. I had to hear a lot about the bible and sin before I got away. ][< -- To terminate puerile preservation prattling among pals and the uncoffee-ed, or to change your settings, go to: <http://maelstrom.stjohns.edu/archives/bullamanka-pinheads.html>
