<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> ******MONA’S GLUTEN FREE****** Hello Everyone, We hope you are all enjoying the great summer weather! I would like to address a post that had been submitted to this list a few weeks ago, regarding Additional Charges for Inspections of Food Goods being shipped into the US from Canada. We have been contacted by several US customers with concerns that they would be responsible for paying extra fees for goods shipped to them from Mona’s Gluten Free. I have done extensive follow up in this matter and am happy to assure you all that this is not the case. We have shipped many orders across North America since the post reporting the charge was submitted and have no instances of any of our customers being charged for inspections of any type. A Public Affairs Specialist from the FDA has informed me that they have not implemented any new Feed Inspections and suggest that perhaps it was UPS that was conducting the inspections in question. We will continue to offer our Shipping Included Pricing Policy and will continue to maintain our shipping via Canada Post/US Post Ground Parcel Service. This means that the price you see on our website is the final price you pay for products. Please visit our website at www.madebymona.com for more information regarding our products and services. On a lighter and tastier note, we’ve been receiving lots of terrific feedback from our customers, telling us how Mona’s Mixes are helping to make summertime barbeques, picnics and day to day living time for fun and great food!! Here are a few examples of what our customers are telling us: Lisa, You’ve got great Buns!!! We finally got around to baking the Sunny bun mix and I had my first really good hamburger bun in a little over 2.5 yrs. They are terrific and turned out just like your picture. So, once again thanks for being such a good cook and for being in business to help us Celiacs. Don Hi Lisa, I made the carrot muffins from your recipe page and they are awesome. They taste like bran muffins that I used to love and have been missing. I’ve never been much of a baker (everything I made came from boxes; nothing except cookies were made from scratch). But your products are so good that I find myself baking every weekend. And the food tastes good! Thanks very much, Lynne I recently ordered your sampler package. I have had Celiac disease for a year and this is the first time (post diagnosis) that I have had pizza I enjoyed - it was great!!!!! I made it with Canadian bacon and pineapple - yummy. I have had other brick like crusts, mushy crusts - many bad experiences with other mixes and recipes. Then my daughter and I made your Happy Day Cake this weekend for Mothers Day - first cake I have had in a year - we added cocoa powder a few chocolate chips (right into the batter) and made chocolate icing. It was heavenly and my non-celiac children and husband loved it too!! Thanks for your wonderful products!!! Camille Hi Mona aka Lisa, Wow!! The biscuits turned out so good. No one would know they were gluten free. I did use all butter and The Soy Silk with a tsp of lemon juice. I didn't have any buttermilk. Still can't believe they taste like a wheat one (from what I can remember) I will be ordering some more in a day or two. Thanks ever so much!! Jo Ann Please drop by and visit our website soon.
