They put it in a lot of sliced chicken/turkey as well. If you find out,
I'd like to know, too.

It's also in my supermarket's own-brand salt and vinegar crisps and
chicken crisps, but not in Walker's brand crisps of those flavours.
Maybe it's time to send Walkers congratulatory note thanking them for
the omission and encouraging them to continue omitting it, and maybe a
less congratulatory note to Sainsbury's urging them to reconsider their
recipe.

Sainsbury's recently introduced a range of products under the sub-brand
"FreeFrom". Many of them were items already available but just
repackaged to make their lack of dairy and gluten obvious. If you're
ever in the UK, Don, Sainsbury's FreeFrom range might be a good stop gap
for you, although they're not all things you could eat on the run.
