I have found "post it" notes inside peoples drives too...

I always stick them on so part hangs out of the drive...
This ASSURES it will not scrap itself off into the drive,
and also reminds me it is in there...

This particular drive must have also been contaminated
by the experience, since it was replaced not too long after...
(I only reached in with tweezers to remove the ground up
paper...
