Johnny,

You may want to try a program called Second Copy at http://www.centered.com/
It is a great cost effect way to keep a current backup. You can get a free
30 day trial. I use this software to keep a current back up of embroidery
designs and then burn the files to a CD for off site storage.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Backing up Hard drive?

Hello All, I have a Laptop Notebook Dell CPxJ running windows XP Pro., 12
gig hard drive, Pentium III 500 mhz, 128 meg ram.

With an external hard drive of about 120 gigs attached to a USB hub (version
2.0) running from my PCMCIA slot, to back up my 12 gig hard drive can I
just copy and paste or drag-and-drop my entire 12 gig hard drive to the
external hard drive, or is there certain steps I have to take?

Or does anyone have a better suggestion?

Thanks All
Johnny
