<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> London is a very celiac friendly city. The grocery stores Sainsbury and Tessco (which have many London locations) each have GF sections with many cookies, crackers, pasta, cereal, etc. They also have great labeling to many other foods say "gluten free" or "contains gluten". The heath fast food chain Pret A Manger has good labeling and for breakfast you can get fresh fruit and yoghurt. Restaurants I enjoyed were Sophies Steakhouse (3 minute cab ride from the South Kensington Tube stop) has Gf steaks and chips (french fries). J. Sheekey is in the Covent Garden area and is a fabulous seafood restaurant. The head waiter will see to it that what you order is GF. I had scallops, squid, lemon sole, halibut, and prawns over several meals there. The Scandanavian berries are to die for as a dessert. Harrods has a food court that is beyond compare, they have a "regular" Gf customer at the seafood grill, just ask to talk to a chef and you are in good hands. The U.S. has a long way to go to catch up to the U.K. * Send administrative questions to [log in to unmask] *
