Pumpkins are a fruit, and I guess that this makes them Paleo. I don't know
if their origins are from the Americas, so I don't know if paleo-peoples
ate them. However, evolution did design them so that they could be eaten
raw by some animal, if not people. I've tried eating them raw, and I've
had no problem with this, although I think that they taste better cooked.
