I am running Windows 98SE. Lately my computer only boots up to the
wallpaper screen without icons and freezes there. The only way I can
get out of it is turning it off and waiting about 30 seconds and letting
it run scan disk. Sometimes I have to do this as many as three times.
If it is on at midnight it says Windows has caused a fatal exception.
It does not matter what program I am using or even if it is just turned
on with no program open. Does any one have any suggestions??
