Hi Mary, He did not change ISP. He has the same ISP as he had previously. He got a new Dell computer. In fact, he can connect and use Outlook Express on the old computer without any problem. I made sure that the new computer was configured just as the old computer, which worked perfectly, including the correct account settings and password. Here is the kick...Outlook Express is actually working on the new computer and he is sending and receiving email even though he constantly gets the "unable to connect to the email server...bad password" error. And, when Outlook Express connects to the email server there is a grayed out box with a password that is many digits too long to be the password entered into the account information. I've been unable to determine where the invalid password is coming from so I can correct it. I think problem has something to do with how Norton AntiVirus is configured. Probably something in the "screen email" portion of the program but I have not been able to find the problem. Thanks...
