Hello,

I have a pentium 100, 32 meg Ram running win 98 SE.

A few weeks ago, I found I was unable to view email attachments for Power Point when received via email. I use Netscape 4.73.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Microsoft Power point viewer umpteen times. I can now view PPS files when accessed from the hard dive (I save the ones I like), but new ones arriving as attachments to emails will not read. The error warning I get is:-
NCompass ActiveX Plug-In
The viewer required to display this file is not installed. Re-run the Microsoft Office Setup program to add the required viewer or application.

As I have the viewer installed on my PC, what do I have to do to "attach" it to netscape?

Do I need to find and install Active X? I can't recall having it before.

Thank you

Anne Smith
