How nice to know that government officials up there, which we tend to think of as merely boring, are in fact every bit as stupid as our generally more loudmouthed officials down here. On the other hand, my longstanding view of communism is that if capitalism is as fucked up as we know it to be, how much unspeakably worse must communism be?
