as i understand i'll start with injections in the neck. that is where there is the most serious damage being done by the long years of contractions. if that helps the next will be to futher injections into the left arm and shoulder which is the next worse area. no mention was made of a pump, but, if the injections do any good, i could possibly go to a pump. emory clinic is a nation wide recognized place, but, when you get there those wonderfull docs have the most disorganized help that you could imagine. -----Original Message----- From: Cleveland, Kyle E. I was hoping that Ken's neuro had some news about Botox that I hadn't heard. Ken, are you having a single injection, a series of injections, or are you having a pump implanted? -Kyle -----Original Message----- From: Kathy Salkin [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Monday, December 23, 2002 9:10 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Ken's procedure; was RE: holiday greetings Thought you were already investigating the possibility of botox? If not, then you should. It's not in the books for me (yet) because my surgery eased up the spasticity and it's not so bad. It'll never go away completely, my neuro says, not even with botox. Kat
