What do most new 'puters come with these days? WinXP or what? A
local hardware/tech guy has a lot of calls from people wanting
home instruction--where to find the 'on' button, etc, ;>) and
wants me to take that on. I used to do that in Win95 days, but I
haven't even seen XP or ME. Right now I'm running Win98SE. I'm A+
certified, but just got in under the wire before they switched
over to Win2000.

Are the other operating systems similar enough that I could get
away with attempting training of this kind? He's offering $35 an
hour, and I hate to turn it down. I can't take a class because I'm
too broke, otherwise I'd go to the local community college and
take one. They have weekend workshops, but I just don't have the
cash. He's still running 98 at his place, so that's no help.

input? suggestions?

THX!
