Well, I concede we can't reasonably expect to save stupid people from themselves - who would be eligible for the Darwin Awards then? - but if it would keep them from storing guns where children can get to them, that would be the ticket. If I hear of one more death from a child getting to a gun left out or in an unlocked cabinet, I'll scream - we get a lot of those here, it seems. That's what I meant by not enough emphasis on safety training.
