Ous,

I understand that both the GFA and Department of State for Youth are
actively engaged in consultations with Senegal and France to assit in the
evacuation of the team. Now that the US has also sent in their Special
Forces to protect and evacuate Americans and other foreign nationals, the
chances are that the Gambian team will not be left behind. I will extend
your sentiments to the team when next I am in touch with them.

Sidi Sanneh

Mr. Sanneh,
Thanks for keeping us posted on the developments. It is good news that your
family and the national team are safe. I am not just sure how much a good
news can one make when such is going on.
Our prayers are with you, your family and all those caught in between such.
We sure do need prayers. Ivory Coast was one of the safest places in that
region. How much of our own people can we kill just for power?
If you talk to the squad again, extend our thoughts to them.
By the way, are you aware of any plans that might be going on from home to
rescue the Gambian nationals there?

Ousman Jallow Bojang.
