I think when you have such an aversion to something it's the body's way of telling you it's not for you. I hate shrimp. I don't even like to clean it because it makes my hands itch and eating it causes a metallic feel and taste in my mouth. Needless to say, I stay away from shrimp but my family loves it so I fix it for them and scratch...... LOL.... Oliva ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adrienne Smith" <[log in to unmask]> It's interesting that some of cannot stand even the smell of liver, let alone the taste. I would like very much to be able to eat it for the nutritional benefits and because it appears to have been a paleo staple (along with other organ meats), but just the smell makes me physically gag. Some people have this kind of reaction to the smell and taste of boiled eggs. I'm wondering if there's some physiologic reason for this?
