I think this is just the mass-market paperback release of his New Diet Revolution book, the only "new" one I see on Amazon. His "induction" phase may be like a very-low-carb paleo, but then (see http://atkinscenter.com/dev/helpatkins/faqs/faqphases/index.html ) you move to phases where you can eat some of the stuff you "miss" (grains, beans, dairy, junkfood). E.g. there are (wheat, cornstarch) bread mixes for sale: http://atkinscenter.com/dev/shop/products/Bread_Mixes.html It seems that rather than taking what might be called a balanced paleodiet approach (adding veggies and fruits as you can tolerate them) he lets you add the old stuff people usually eat.
