I think this is just the mass-market paperback release of his
New Diet Revolution book, the only "new" one I see on Amazon.

His "induction" phase may be like a very-low-carb paleo, but then

you move  to phases where you can eat some of the stuff you "miss"
(grains, beans, dairy, junkfood). E.g. there are (wheat, cornstarch) bread

It seems that rather than taking what might be called a balanced
paleodiet approach (adding veggies and fruits as you can tolerate them)
he lets you add the old stuff people usually eat. I guess the philosophy is
that this will appeal to a mass audience more than strict paleo.
