The Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations (ASCAC)
invites and welcomes your participation in the
19th Annual Ancient Kemetic (Egyptian) Studies Conference.

This year’s conference, “Understanding and Examining the Living History of African Civilizations” is both an interactive and working conference that offers a challenge and an opportunity for all participants.

The driving force in ASCAC's work is the intellectual and spiritual deployment of knowledge that will advance and enhance the descendants of Africa.

The challenge for this conference and its participants is three-fold. First, we must continue to comprehend the vast amount of knowledge that our ancestors left us. Second, we must investigate and internalize the meaning of this information and how it relates to our daily lives. And third, we must build on this foundation so that future generations may understand, promote and preserve this legacy.

The opportunities this conference provides are limitless: To place ourselves on the world stage of history, to document effectively the process we employ in order to enrich our lives, to celebrate our heritage, and to teach our children the imperative of good character.

These things and more we shall do.
