The problem is probably that you just have a very slow oxidative metabolism. Fat and protein take longer to break down and digest than carbohydrates so with a slow oxidation it would make sense why eating lots of fat would leave you bogged down. You probably do better on carbs and find you get a somewhat stable energy supply even from so called "bad" carbs. A fast oxidizer on the other hand tends to oxidize carbs and all foods fairly quickly and this is where the negative effects of eating high carb diets come in.
