<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Dear Friends, I finally got my summary on Bread Machines off to the list and from that summary I am getting many e-mails asking for the recipe that I was using. It is from Bette Hagman's book The Gluten Free Gormet with a little doctoring from Dr. Pilgrim. Does anyone know how to get ahold of Bette? I have asked Carol Fenster (her cookbooks are great too, by the way!!) some question but do not know if Bette has e-mail. I would just ask her if I could put her recipe on the list in an e-mail. If anyone knows her they could ask for me :) I wouldn't want to do it without her permission. It's on page 25 for those of you that have the book. I put in 1/2 of 1/3 of a cup of honey in place of the sugar (since I can't have sugar) and left out the other 2 teaspoons of sugar. I used 2 1/4 cups of lukewarm water in place of the usual 1/2. I used 1/4 cup of olive oil (to give me more fat content because its a carb) in place of 1/4 cup of shortening and I left off the other 1 1/4 cups of water. I hope this helps and if I get permission to share the recipe (although I didn't follow her instructions on "how" to do it) I will be glad to post it. I don't know how this works with recipes from a cookbook. I am open to anyone giving me a little help though.... :) Pilgrim South No, kidding, this bread is light, airy and very delicious!!
