You've already got the best, there is no others can beat CloneCD yet.

You may need a good CD reader to improve reading speed, almost all normal
CD-ROMs won't read subchannel info, so if you experience long reading time,
it either because your CD reader is slow or not capable for such operation.
for a good reader, look for CloneCD list, all Toshiba DVD drives are high
recommended (I have one, and very happy with it).

There is not much you can do about write speed, it is depending on how fast
your cd writer is, and how good it is. later copy-protection can make great
difficulty for backup, sometimes, you have to slow down (or the program has
to) write speed in order to get the job right.
