Gaudi vs. Gehry

I'll take Gaudi anytime.  Despite the lack of right angles.

The Watts Towers (which I have seen, but not more recently than 1964) are very reminiscent of the pix of Gaudi's work, but they don't pretend and weren't intended to be anything other than sculpture.

Now, david, can you explain to me what I like about Gaudi and Simon Rodia, and for that matter Kenzo Tange, but Gehry is NFG?

Thanks,

Ralph
