I had a similar problem with IE 6.0. I did uninstall/re-install , but still very very slow compared to Netscape,Opera and Broadpage. I found out in a discussion group that Webenhancer software (GOHIP) is a spyware, so I uninstalled it. Also I found out that GOHIP registers a DLL called IE.DLL.I unregistered the DLL and voila, everything is fine now. Alexander T.
