First of all i wouldn't do anything with XP other than a clean install. So if you want to do this i would suggest that you first re-format the hard drive of course saving your files that you need before you do that..as afar as the drivers..unless someone has had a direct exprience with a certain piece of hardware...you really don't know how the hardware will react with XP & if the drivers are there...would suggest that you download all of your hardware drivers which you will either find on your hardware manufacturer's website or go to www.microsoft.com/support/Xp...Good luck Steve >>> [log in to unmask] 12/20/01 05:33AM >>> Can I install XP over Win 98SE or first format and clean HD ?
