Well, the more people you know in thi field the better off you will be,
but be prepared for questions you may think ae second nature.  Hvve you
had a chance to check out your local dispatch centers?  This will give you
a better isea as to what adaptations you may need to make.  I am checking
out your county, and will get back yt you when I hear anything, because
things in your area may change in terms of the make of equipment you will
be using if you were to get a job.
